Fall Demolition Derby Set for October 4 at Parsons Stadium

The Rodeo of the Ozarks will host the 16^th Annual Fall Ozark Demolition Derby at Springdale’s Parsons Stadium on Saturday, October 4.

Participants from a four state area will engage in metal crushing destruction and motorized mayhem, with the last vehicle remaining winning a grand prize of $10,000.

“We have demolition derbies in the spring and the fall, and they prove to be some of the most popular events in Northwest Arkansas,” said Rick Culver, executive director of the Rodeo of the Ozarks. “It is an outstanding family fun event.”

Tickets can be purchased now for discounted rate of $2 per ticket at www.rodeooftheozarks.org or at the Rodeo of the Ozarks office at 1423 East Emma Avenue in Springdale. Tickets purchased the night of the event will $7 for children ages 2 to 12 and $12 for adults.

“We had over 7,000 people attend the spring demolition derby and we expect more than that for the fall event, so we strongly encourage everyone to buy their tickets early and save,” Culver said.

Gates will open at 6:00 p.m. and the event begins at 7:30 p.m.
