Jobless Rate in NWA is 2.2% in April |

Northwest Arkansas' unemployment rate in April was the lowest in the state at 2.2%. The rate was the 8th lowest among 388 metropolitan areas in the country as reported by the US Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Ames, Iowa, had the lowest unemployment rate in the country at 1.7%.
State of Arkansas had a low rate of 3.5% while the national rate is 4.4%.
