Event Description: For the second year in a row, the Jim and Joyce Faulkner Performing Arts Center on the University of Arkansas campus will be screening the holiday favorite – Elf, starring Will Ferrell and James Caan. This free family-friendly event will be held at the Faulkner Center on Saturday, December 9, from 3 to 5 p.m. The screening also serves as a canned food drive benefiting the Jane B. Gearhart Full Circle Food Pantry. Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable canned goods, and get into the holiday spirit by coming dressed as their favorite holiday characters to enjoy the movie. Along with the screening of this holiday classic, guests will be treated to live music, face painting,magic,and crafts, including the opportunity to design blank pizza boxes to use at local favorite, Marco’s Pizza. Film starts at 3 p.m., but doors open at 1:30 p.m. for activities.
