Join us for the 2018 Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce Candidate Forums hosted by AT&T and Black Hills Energy. These forums will be open to the public and led by impartial moderators.

Candidate Forum Format

The forum will last one hour
Each candidate will give a five minute opening and a five minute closing statement. Candidates will speak in alphabetical order for the opening statement and reverse their order for the closing statement.
Each candidate will have three minutes to respond to each question, and there will be no rebuttal after the responses.
The first answer to each question will alternate between the candidates
The Chamber will have a timekeeper to assure that each candidate does not exceed the three minutes allowed for responses.

Rules

Only candidates may respond to questions.
The audience is asked to refrain from interrupting responses, booing or causing any distractions for the rest of the audience or candidates.
When questions are opened up to the audience, each attendee may ask one question until each member of the audience has asked their question, or there are no more questions from anybody else.
